What you will need before you get your truck registered.

1) INSURANCE: You will have to provide proof of insurance to get your truck registered

2) HEAVY HIGHWAY VEHICLE USE TAX: If your vehicle's gross vehicle weight is over 55,000 lbs. you may be required to pay this tax. You will have to show a reciept that you paid this tax if you are registering your truck 60 days or more after you have bought this truck. 3) APPLICATION for NEBRASKA Certificate of Title You will also need to fill out this application to get your truck registered. VEHICLE REGISTRATION APPLICATION

4) ASSUMED NAME REGISTRATION. If the name on the account is going to be different than your legal name or you are registering as a corporation you will have to register that name with the Nebraska Secretary of State - Application for Registration of Trade Name
